Just finished my first day of work with the new hood was skeptical of the durability of the pirarucu leather but was pleasantly surprised to find out it seems more durable than I thought. Also comes with some dope stickers

Worth every penny... My Jackson Square with suede leather top is now my absolute favorite hood! The red is beautiful, the leather work is flawless, the headgear is solid, and damn is it mean looking with a red lens. I'm so in love with it, I just ordered my second Southern Leather hood today.
Very impressed for the price point, sensitive sensors so not really any “blind spots” snaps dark quick and haven’t been flashed at all. Can’t see anything competing with it for under 50 bucks! What I have noticed is while Welding it’ll start to get hazy than snap back to clear I weld anywhere from 240 A down to 130 I figured the high amperage was harder for the lens to keep up with not a dealbreaker, especially at 50 bucks.
Love it! Can’t wait to get behind it when school starts!
